Roger's Reviews

Post Rookie Draft — initial reaction, no performance data

Roger has reviewed the Not That Drunk draft board and the league office has several questions, starting with — Jeremy, what in the holy hell is Greg Dulcich doing at pick 4.10. A consensus rank of 319 taken at slot 46 is not a reach. It is a hostage situation. Roger's bartender Carlos has a better handle on dynasty TE value, and Carlos thinks fantasy football is "the baseball one." Makai Lemon at 1.04 is clean — slight over-pay on consensus but you don't apologize for taking a WR1 prospect one slot early. De'Zhaun Stribling at 2.04 is the best thing Jeremy did all draft — three slots of free value, which is the first time "Jeremy Peters" and "free value" have appeared in the same sentence in four years. Then the back half of this draft became a WR hoarder's fever dream: Stribling, Sarratt, Hurst, Joly — Jeremy apparently drafted like a man who genuinely believes tight ends don't exist, stacked three third-round receivers, then pivoted to Cade Klubnik at 4.04 because sure, why not, the vibes seemed right. Grade: C+. The Lemon-and-Stribling combo at the top has a ceiling; the Dulcich pick at the bottom has a floor that Roger cannot locate on any available map.
