Roger's Reviews
Post Rookie Draft — initial reaction, no performance data
Roger After Rehab wraps their 2026 rookie draft board with a composite B-minus, and frankly that grade is doing some charitable rounding. Sadiq at 1.08 is the one pick Roger will defend at any bar in any city — one slot off consensus, a tight end with real upside, clean value, no notes. Bell in the third is quietly the steal of their class: a receiver falling six spots into their lap while other owners apparently forgot he existed. Then there's Carson Beck — taken eight slots early, a quarterback in a league where quarterbacks should cost you nothing premium until they cost you everything, which this one might. Seth McGowan rounds it out at a modest three-slot reach, fine, whatever, Roger has already moved on from McGowan emotionally. The verdict: one legitimate steal, one reach that'll either look genius or get this franchise roasted at the podium for the next four years — and if it's the latter, Roger will be here at the microphone, drink in hand, saying he told you so.
